Welcome!
My name is Sheila Seger. I create small batch, hand-built and wheel thrown ceramics in my studio in Viviken between Kristinehamn and Karlskoga.
Surrounded by forests and perched on a rock overlooking lake Alkvettern, I am inspired by nature to create functional, one of a kind, organic pieces of ceramic art. My work embodies the movement and depth I see in the nature around me.
About me
I was educated and had a career as an Urban Planner in my native Canada before pursuing my fascination with clay. After many years of ceramics classes while living in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and now here in Sweden, I feel fortunate to have been able to open my own studio in Värmland in 2020.
By pursuing my passion for clay I create beautiful timeless ceramics, inspired by nature, that can be enjoyed every day.
